"Good Assortment Rec'd this year"
My three boxes are in and I did really well this year. Ordered Classics box, Archival Box and the Light Surprise me box.
Rec'd the following ( Classics)
Black Elbe Shirt - most flattering fitting blouse and can be dressed up or down.
Grey wool crew neck pullover sweater - soft, thin fabric that is wonderfully drapey and rich looking.
Weekend Pants - too big, and they are a baggy style anyway, I need to size down on their bottoms next time. Will try to get them altered as they are soft and a good style cargo pants which work well on me.
Archival Treasures:
Black cotton boyfriend crew neck top
Lauren sweatshirt in grey both of these are going to be worn to death.
3 in 1 convertible puffer coat in marine blue - great score here.....fits well, not bulky but warm and versatile. In love with this.
Mini box:
grey pullover hoodie and navy cap sleeve tee rex.
Great mystery box year from Universal Standard for me.

"Value of mystery box - very underwhelming"
I believe in US and I've bought things from them that I've really liked. I took a gamble on the mystery box this year and wanted to share my experience in case it's helpful. I got the archival treasures box because it had the best bang for the buck - $138 for a value of up to $781. Even though it would have been more than I would normally spend ($46/piece of clothing), I figured it would be worth it and I was expecting some out-of-sight items from old collections.
Instead I got a pair of joggers ($88), a shortsleeve jumpsuit (can't find it on the website, but it's not the twill or denim versions - it's made out of a stretchy fabric - $135?), and the meg blazer ($198). Extremely underwhelming. I reached out to their customer service - but no joy...
I know it says "up to" a value of $781, and I didn't expect the total to be that high, but I definitely did NOT expect it to be that low.
I won't be fooled again...
