How Bouqs Works

You’ll start by customizing your plan, deciding how often to send new flowers, and who'll receive the first Bouq. From there, The Bouq Co.’s eco-friendly farms prep your order that’s so fresh, many come in bud form for longer lasting enjoyment. Once your Bouq has arrived, you will arrange the stems, watch them bloom, admire how much they brighten up your space, and then get excited for your next Bouq to arrive.

With Bouq’s personalized subscription dashboard, you can switch the delivery date, Bouq size, and/or recipient for every order. You can also snooze up to 3 deliveries without having to cancel.

Pricing Options

Original -$40 (10-16 stems)

Deluxe - $52 (20-32 stems)

Grand - $65 (30-45 stems)

The Bouq’s Co. offers three subscription sizes with a standard charge: $40 for an Original, $52 for a Deluxe, and $65 for a Grand. Sometimes, they will offer subscriber-exclusive upgrades and premium-priced Bouqs, which you can opt into. You'll only receive one if you select it. Shipping is always free!

Bouqs Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Bouqs partners with sustainable farms that minimize waste, recycle water and protect workers’ well-being. This also means their flowers stay fresher and last longer.
  • Ability to have flowers on hand for life’s special moments and occasions.
  • Ability to select same day or next day delivery for last-minute events or occasions.

Cons

  • All sales are final, although their satisfaction guarantee covers you in the unlikely event the wrong arrangement was delivered, or it was delivered in subpar condition
  • Only ships to the US (49 states - excluding Alaska)
  • Some arrangements may take longer to deliver

What Else You Should Know About The Bouqs Co.

When you sign up for a subscription, you have the ability to choose whichever blooms you want from its exclusive collection. The Bouqs Co. offers perks in addition to free shipping, including up to 30% off every subscription order, and site-wide savings on succulents, air plants, or dried flowers. You also can schedule deliveries up to a year in advance, if you want to ensure you’re planning for a special occasion, anniversary, or event.

Is Bouqs Worth It?

For subscription-based flower delivery, Bouqs quality, selection, and price is virtually unmatched. It is difficult to find flower delivery services that offer a comparable selection while being sustainable, for as little as $40 (without hidden service or shipping fees). Having flowers on hand for any given occasion can take the stress and guesswork out of life events that tend to pop up. It’s a subscription service you may not have considered having, but one you’ll be happy you do.

How Bouqs Compares to Other Top Flower Brands

Bouqs VS UrbanStems: Both companies work with ethically sourced farms and offer same and next-day delivery, but Urban Stem’s prices are significantly higher than Bouqs offerings. UrbanStems Classic bouquet at $55 per delivery is $15 more than The Bouqs’ comparable Classic offering.

Bouqs VS ProFlowers: Both companies offer plants, dried flowers, and additional gifts outside traditional flower subscriptions. Proflowers has limited subscription options, and a service fee can range from $4.99 to $39.99 depending on the time of year, delivery address, desired date, and the products you've selected. The Bouqs Co. offers free shipping for all subscriptions.

Bouqs VS Bloomsy Box: Both companies work with ethically sourced farms, and often send their flowers in bud form to ensure freshness. Bloomsy has limited customization options, and their subscriptions start at $45, whereas Bouq’s comparable subscription is $5 less.

The Bouqs Co. Subscription FAQ

Why get a subscription vs. placing a single order?
A subscription is the most convenient way to send farm-fresh flowers on your schedule. It extends the best deal, with up to 30% savings plus free shipping. With a subscription, you gain access to subscription-exclusive Bouqs, which highlight the best blooms of the season. It's also super flexible — switch up recipients, Bouqs, and delivery dates. You can also easily skip an order when you need to.
Is shipping on subscription orders always free?
Yes. Other perks come with being a subscriber too, like early access to special stems and extra savings on non-subscription orders.
Where does Bouqs ship?
Currently, The Bouqs Co. ships to 49 States. We currently do not ship to Alaska, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, or APO/FPO addresses. Bouqs created at one of its farms will ship to any U.S. zip code by FedEx, Tuesday- Saturday. Bouqs created by one of its florists are delivered to addresses within their delivery range, typically 7 days of the week. When you select a florist Bouq, you’ll be prompted to enter the delivery zip code before continuing to confirm if their partner in the area is available. Due to limited carrier availability in Hawaii, deliveries might take a little longer. Also, due to restrictions unique to Hawaii, Tropical Bouqs, plants, and arrangements containing eucalyptus are not available for delivery in Hawaii.
How flexible is the subscription?
Very flexible! You're in control of your deliveries, and can make updates in the Subscription Dashboard. In this area, you can:

1. Switch up recipients: You can change up your recipient with every order- send one to mom for her birthday, the next one to your friend, the next one to yourself. It makes birthdays, anniversaries, and any other gifting moments easy.

2. Pick your Bouq (if you want): You can choose the Bouq for every individual delivery, or set it and forget it — they'll take care of the rest.

3. Change the size or delivery date: It’s easy to change your settings from your subscription management dashboard.
What is the cancellation policy?
After your first subscription order, you may cancel at any time.
Can you pause deliveries?
You can snooze your subscription for up to three consecutive deliveries, or skip an individual delivery in your subscription management dashboard at any time. The Bouqs Co. understands that life happens, so they’ve made the subscription flexible to work with you or your recipient's schedule.
Can you give a subscription as a gift?
Absolutely! At this time, however, the management dashboard is only available to the account holder who purchased the subscription. You can always gift individual bouquets by updating the recipient in your account settings.
Can you pick the bouquet?
Your first order will be a seasonal favorite, but you can pick the Bouqs each time after that (or leave it to The Bouqs Co. to decide for you). You will have access to over 25 exclusive seasonal Bouqs to choose from. They will send an email a few days before your order is placed to remind you to choose, or they will send you one of their favorites.

I would run, not walk away from this brand. I ordered an original bouquet of Asiatic lilies for my aunt's funeral, whom I cannot attend to, because I am ill and it's in another state. My mourning family received the bouquet as completely closed buds. When I got in touch with customer service, the person had no empathy whatsoever, and proceeded to say that the bouquet is supposed to arrive that way. However, the advertising is very sneaky - despite the ad showing a picture of a full bouquet of flowers, there is a comment at the BOTTOM of the listing (As the rep coldly pointed out), which you may not see if you are ordering from a small device, like a cell phone. It says at the very bottom that the bouquet's flowers will arrive with closed buds. There are also pages in the website that assure that the flowers coming from florist partners will arrive "In full bloom and arranged to a designer's touch." Mind you, there is no clear designation in the website advertising, as far as which bouquets are coming direct from farm or not, and what that actually means. Furthermore, wouldn't a direct-from-farm order be considered a "florist partner"? Seeing as there are many similar reviews of dissatisfaction, the owners must be aware of the discrepancy, but decline to provide clarity or a transparent website. Going back to the customer service rep, he flat out denied helping me in any capacity until I continued to push, and I still didn't receive a refund, only an opportunity to place another order with Bouqs using a credit. What a horrific way to treat a sensitive issue. I may as well mention also, that I had placed an order with Bouqs about a year ago, with the same issue; closed peony buds, however, they never opened and browned. I guess shame on me for giving the brand another try. I for one, will use the aforementioned credit on myself and run.
