So far I have received 2 boxes. The first was only a book and the retail value was way less than the cost of the box. The second had some fun items included so I felt better about it. I have been receiving the "young adult" version and the books have been ok but I have decided to give a different box a try.

I finally heard back from Conscious box customer service after almost a week and my credit card was issued a refund Sept 3rd. I had to email them and send messages on Facebook several times before they responded though. Then I finally did hear back and they said they'd refund the box since I got July's box so late and they'd already charged me for August. Not since the box itself was so crappy. I would never get this box again nor recommend it to anyone.
