About the Brand

Stitch Fix is a personal styling service. You tell them your style and size preferences, and they send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. No two Fix shipments are alike. Each one is hand-picked just for you. Keep what items you like, and return the rest in a pre-paid return mailer. The services costs $20 a month for your stylist, but that fee is deducted from any items you choose to keep.

"Big and Tall Needs Work"

Big and tall sizes are lacking, and most of what they have runs small.

1st Time Poster!

I was really excited to start this service and was expecting to be with them for a long time and spend a lot with them. But it became clear very early that the quality of the products is very low but their prices are obscene. As an example: they'd shipped a rather generic polo that was somewhat ill-fitting (seams along shoulders puckered), the fabric wasn't impressive, the style very blah, and it was just a no-name brand. I thought to myself "maybe the seams will flatten out after a wash, if it's less than $25, I'll keep it." But when I looked at the receipt, they wanted to charge $60! I looked online for similar polos and found a Banana Republic polo for $25. I ordered it so that I could compare. It was much higher quality fabric, cut, and name and half the price StitchFix was trying to charge. So, imagine that kind of problem but for nearly every item they ship you. Low quality product, no-name made-in-China brands, but they charge double the price for name brands. This left me very discouraged so I wrote to Customer Service explaining the problems I have with their products. Not a single person at the company could accurately address the issue. One person said "Oh, you want higher quality product?" If they did that, they'd probably just charge even more. Another person said they could "work within my budget." I'd changed my account to ship as often as it would let me. It wasn't an issue of being able to afford it but that the products aren't worth anywhere near what they charge. I ended up shipping a bunch more of their clothes back after this because their response showed a contempt for their customer. Their prices don't match the quality and if you express concern over that, they'll insinuate that you're poor. I'm still waiting for the refund. They are a rip off!
