I really enjoy my quip subscription and haven't had any issues with the brushes. My husband and I have the metal ones and my son has a kids plastic one. Automated refills are great for convenience and are always on time, and my 5 year old likes having his own brush just like ours; the timers really do help with teaching kids how long is the right time to brush, and he also loves the Watermelon toothpaste. I also love the sticky toothbrush holders and the fact that these are battery operated; I just don't have the space in our bathroom for a plug-in electric brush. FWIW our dentist always has good things to say at our regular appointments (except that none of us floss enough lol). My only gripe is that I wish I could bundle all of our refills together, they all ship separately around the same time.
