I just read through these reviews and had to say something. Back when New Hobby Box was a subscription service, I loved it. The entire idea was getting something new everymonth to try and it was great. I like some of the other people posting didn't understand why I was charged and then didn't receive my box for weeks so sent an email and they explained that it's because boxes are all sent once per month and people are given the chance (a month) to opt out of a box if they didn't like the theme. Made a lot of sense to me but I still feel like this is why they went from offering subscriptions to just selling kits. People not reading what they signed up for ruining it for the rest of us.

The worst customer service ever! I had very similar experiences as listed by others. I wish I had seen reviews like this before I ordered this for my sister-in-law. Very disappointing! I will won’t be surprised if they go out of business. You can’t mistreat customers and survive in this competitive market.

Have to add another ringing voice to the reviews below. I ordered the box as a gift for a friend, was not aware it would auto-renew after three months (as a gift? Strange.) Contacted customer service explaining the mix-up asking for a partial refund for the two unsent boxes. I heard nothing for three weeks, was told I would be contacted after posting on their Facebook. Didn't hear anything, and tried to follow up again. That's when they messaged me that I was threatening them, and they blocked me. Easily the worst customer service I have ever received, and I've had Comcast. AVOID.
