Decided to try out Geek Chic for July and was glad that I did. The July 2016 theme was Whovian/Sherlock and the items included a Dr Who bracelet and matching Tardis earrings, Adipose vinyl cling, a London telephone box tea tin, "I Am Sherlocked" adjustable ring, and double sided Sherlock and Holmes necklace (complete with a wee violin charm). The value definitely exceeded the $15 cost of the box and the box was well curated and shipped in a timely manner. I think this box is beyond perfect for female teens and college students who love their fandoms and enjoy receiving unique, cute jewelry and small gifts. Would make a stellar gift, as well. Definitely recommended.

I think it should be noted somewhere that this sub is on an impromptu hiatus ... and I don't think they will bounce back. They had issued getting a box out and then issues with the next box and decided to 'take a break' via messaging subscribers but not positing anything on their media outlets about it. That was 4 months ago. They didn't refund anyone for the two boxes that went unfulfilled and it made it really difficult for those of us that thought it would be a short break and held out on doing chargebacks to get our money back. I was only able to get refunded for one of the boxes. Even if they did decide to randomly come back one day, I personally don't think i'd be able to trust them again due to the extreme lack of communication and knowingly leaving with customer's money and not caring.
