"Unreliable and not worth your money! Issues with food safety, delivery, and a lack of compassion."
I hate writing negative reviews but I felt it was important to let others know about my experience so that they don’t waste their money or time. I have given Freshly numerous chances and continue to have problems. I hoped that each time was a one time issue but I’ve now dealt with food safety issues and delivery issues for multiple weeks. I signed up for this service to simplify my life and due to shipments not arriving and the amount of time I’ve spent dealing with customer service, it has done the exact opposite. I first had food in my shipment that arrived already expired and was told they take the matter very seriously, they would report it to their kitchen staff, etc. but then it happened again. Also, this week marks the third week where my shipment did not arrive at all and I am without meals for the week. When reaching out to customer service, the agents provide you with the same canned responses each time. Freshly doesn’t seem to care about food safety or retaining customers.

"Food does not taste good at all."
If I'm being honest, the food was terrible. I got 2 of 6 different meals... 1 type went straight into the garbage. For 4 others, the food just wasn't good. It was edible but barely. The chicken is always moist but the flavors are just bad. The only one I got and I would ever order again was the beef chili.

"Terrible Delivery Service "
It's actually a shame because the reason we canceled was not due to the food. I got this for my elderly father who lives alone and doesn't know how to cook. He has heart problems and kidney disease. The delivery service Freshly uses is horrible. They tossed each box over my father's gate and never took it to the front door as they were supposed to do. We called several times and each time they said it would not happen again. The last time I called I told them that if it happened again I would cancel. The delivery service would send a text and ask to tip the driver if we were pleased. We never did. Freshly never made any effort to communicate with their delivery service. It was a disappointing experience. When I told them I was going to cancel they put a GIF with a boy waving goodbye. Nice to see them work hard to keep their customers.😕 I don't recommend Freshly.
