Featured Review: FabKids Subscription Review + Coupon – January 2021

by Brandi Dowell on January 23, 2021

I wasn't in search of anything specific when I did my FabKids shopping this month, but I managed to find some pretty cute items! The dino shoes were a worthwhile purchase knowing that they will last and be able to get passed down to my younger son and the skirtall was adorable and unique. The leggings were a bit big which is surprising considering these are an item where I thought I knew what I was getting, but hopefully, that means they will last us a long time! I ended up paying $54.62 including shipping for these items that retail for $82 and cost $64.85 with the VIP pricing before shipping. Read more...

I recently signed up for this subscription because the current sign up deal was just too good to pass up. Well, you get what you pay for! While the outfits to select from look cute in photos, the quality of the clothes is comparable to Walmart. That's fine at the sign up price, but once you are paying their standard price, even the VIP pricing, it is just not worth it. I have since cancelled my membership. Not a total loss, the outfits we received will look OK for 2-3 wears before they hit the donate box!

I've been using their service for a little over a year now. For the most part their outfits are absolutely adorable and you will get compliments from other parents/friends all the time. I've had a pair of pants and a couple of dresses start to come apart faster than I would have expected for the price, but given the number of pieces I've bought that haven't had that issue, I keep my subscription and continue purchasing pieces every now and then. The biggest complaint I have is that their shirts aren't long enough if your child has a long torso.

Just got our first box. The dress we got was unbelievable. It was so much more detailed and better quality than it looked in the pictures online. That said, I don't see myself keeping this one for long. My daughter is 9, and many of the clothes look like they're for younger children. She'll likely grow out of these styles within the next 6-12 months. The price isn't bad for a complete outfit, but with shipping thrown in I'm wondering if I could find better or more for the same price elsewhere. Still, it's easy enough to skip a month if I don't want anything, so I'll wait and see.

I've been a member for maybe 6 months now. I got boots and shoes my first time. The boots fell apart quickly, the other items have been fine. I've skipped most months, and forgot to skip the month I had my baby, so was charged giving me a credit. I used the credit for a dress and some leggings. I love both items. Good quiality and super cute dress. The leggings are the perfect thickness, not see through, and SO soft. I'll probably cancel at some point, but I'll order more leggings first.
