I found that the value of this trial was pretty low. After completing my closet, it took about 2 weeks before I got my clothes. Therefore giving me 3 clothing items for the month when you factor wear time and then returning the clothes. It all seems hardly worth the $70/month price.

"Terrible Customer Service"
Horrible customer service. When I signed up for the service it was very new(I assumed) I was completely unaware that you had to have 8 garments in the closet before it triggered a shipment. I had 6 in the closet. My mistake as a consumer, I signed up with a credit card that I never use. I received my first box and I was actually excited. I thought it was like similar subscriptions that I have. Keep a garment or send it back. I kept a jacket. This was last September btw. I forgot about the service. They continued to charge my card because I did not cancel nor did I add the required 2 garments necessary to trigger a shipment. Who would simply give a random company over $700 for no service. On top of that they ask me to return the jacket I had since September. I did not ask for a refund, I take responsibility for my misunderstanding of their policies but wow. When I stated that I spent over $700 with this company they sent this reply, SORRY CHARLIE!
I love Express but I had a bad experience with their new rental subscription program.
If you forget to cancel, they will not refund you the money as a first time courtesy even if you no longer want to use it.
Also, even if you didnt rent anything, when you cancel your cancellation is effective right away which means that you cant receive clothes for that month because your account is cancelled which makes no sense. If they charged me 70 dollars for that month and I end up canceling the first day, I would still need to be able to rent for that month. The customer service rep said, "If you've made up your mind though, I will cancel the subscription for you. Before I proceed, I'd like to share that your account is paid till Dec 7th. I request you to utilize the service in full because ours is a prepaid service and we don't offer partial/full refunds." Here she said the account is paid until 12/7/20 and said the service is prepaid but she said the cancellation effect will be immediate. Her words were very unclear and I ended up canceling thinking I can still use the service until Dec 8, but the prepaid account deactivates right away.
There is no option to cancel by yourself online. You can only call or email them. You cannot reach them during Weekend.
Save yourself 70 dollars and avoid until they change their policies! It is by Express but this rental subscription program seems like those scam businesses. Only to deal with stolen money is to dispute it with the bank.
