I love Deck of Scarlet!! I stumbled upon them on total accident and thought the concept was really cool: working with current/popular makeup/skincare youtube/blog/vlog ladies to create a palette that can create multiple looks. Once I received the first palette, I was wishing I had found them sooner. They ship a new palette every other month. Each palette has two lip colors, 3 eyeshadows, one highlighter, one blush/bronzer, an eyeliner and sometimes a lip liner. The highlighter and blush/bronzer is so universal that I have used them as shadows as well. That's what makes this palette so amazing: there truly are so many different looks you can create with this palette.
The shadows are incredibly pigmented, creamy and blend amazingly well. The eye liner was waterproof and came in another color, which was a great change since a girl can only have so many black eyeliners XD The lip colors varied not only in color, but in type of lip color. One was more a mattified lipstick and the other was a super creamy, glossy type.
The other really cool thing about this palette is the split cover/lid. It splits so you can either access just the lip colors, just the shadows/pans or flip both pieces for the entire palette. They sell their previous palettes, but once they're gone, they're gone. They also have single shadows and a great deal that if you purchase 10, you get a free magnetic palette.
They value the palette at around $80 but it's only $29.95 every other month, which is quite a steal and the quality is amazing. The site also has different videos featuring the youtuber/blogger of the month showing tutorials on how to achieve 2 or 3 different looks from the palette so you can follow along or use it as a base to create your own looks. It's so worth it to me and cannot wait to see what March/April's palette has to offer!!!
