DO NOT Subscribe. Very disappointing. Quality is not good. SO HARD TO CANCEL.
I was really really looking forward to trying this box! I'm so disappointed. First of all, when it came (Fall 2020 box), everything was just thrown in with no packing materials or anything. I think part of the fun of subscription boxes is the WOW factor along with the care and detail of the presentation. None of that here...and I was so surprised! Rachel is so stylish, I thought this would be a show-stopper box! I did like the items I received but also re-gifted a few. One product wasn't even included (the Marine gel) and they promised to ship it when they received it. I was fine with that. I got notice in early December that it was shipping but I never got it. The shipping information still isn't updated from when I originally got it. I really wanted to subscribe to this year-round but just did the one box. Disappointing!
Avoid this company like the plauge. I placed my order on 12/8/20. Then I recieved an email on the 14th saying that my package had shipped with a tracking number. However, the only update the tracking ever gave was "Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item". I contacted customer service on the 18th, 21st, and 23rd. Each time they assured me that the box had been shipped and to wait until the 30th. How they expected the package to get delivered without it being scanned once is beyond my comprehension. I contacted them yet again on the 12/30 and 1/4 but neither message was replied to. I had to make a credit card dispute to get my money back. Horrible customer service.
I couldn't be more disappointed in a box if I tried. I signed up 11/11/20 with the expectation I would have the box in Australia by Christmas. Wrong, isn't happening. After no less than 10 requests the address for shipping has been changed to my own in the states. They have put out their shipping schedule. Yearly members starts mid December and could take up to a few weeks for delivery, for quarterly members, who knows, figure Mid January for the box to arrive. Meanwhile at the same time I ordered this box I ordered Causebox, I had a question answered right away and received my first box 11/23. Until this company figures out it production problem and hires more people (this is their excuse), they'll be getting more reviews like this. I'd say at the moment don't waste your money. Now I have to try and cancel the box which should be quite the endeavor.
VERY HARD TO CANCEL!
I am heartsick to find the yet another box that I canceled decided to "un-cancel" me, charge me, and send another box. Something needs to happen in the arena of ethics in the subscription box world. It's one thing when it's a $25 box, but when it's $100 for a box that you didn't want, didn't need in times like these where a $100 still buys something.
Their customer service is one of the worst in sub boxes. They refuse to replace defective item (received a Kosas palette that gone bad) and they stole my credits and would not do anything about it. I had $32 that disappeared after I clicked redeem, they would not apply to any kind of order for me, subscription or market purchase, they just disappeared. I conctacted them numerous times, had to wait weeks for answer and they only say, IT is working on it. After 2.5 months and IT can still not figure this out??? Horrible, just horrible.
Hands down, my favorite box. The shawl/scarf! Beautiful items, though I’m not so much into the makeup, my roommate appreciates those items!
Bad quality product. Terrible customer service.
The customer service is terrible! The worst ever. I was trying to get a subscription with them, but my card got declined several times (which usually doesn't happen). I contacted the card issuer and was told that the transaction went through at the issuer end, but merchant didn't accept it. Contacted BOS customer service, got an email saying that can't find my info...that was it. Something went wrong their end, but instead of trying to solve the problem, they close the door on me saying they can't find my profile. I mean, at least they could say "it seems like you have not subscribed with us, would you still be interested?"
This is a fun box that I get as I like the spoilers. They've made their process of canceling very easy, and I appreciate that!
