Austin Lloyd Overview

About the Brand

Austin Lloyd is a monthly subscription box for children. Every month, they send you 4-5 toys and books that are customized to the play level of the child (toys are typically appropriate for children under 3), bpa and phthalate free items, toys that are targeted at improving fine motor and cognitive skills, no battery operated toys, and every box's value is guaranteed to exceed the cost of the box. Austin Lloyd also has a donation feature: When you/your child are done with the toys, Austin Lloyd will send you a prepaid shipping label to use to mail the toys back, and they will donate them to their partnering charities.

Love this box! When I first saw this box I was a little hesitant, since it was $49.99 a month, but I decided to splurge when we got our tax refund. I bought both my girls a 3 month subscription, which brings the boxes down to $46.99 a month. (FYI there are also 10% off promo codes available, but I didn't remember to use mine)Each box has a monthly theme and is curated to your little one's play level and gender. The boxes are neatly packed and include information cards for each product. Also love how you can reuse the box to donate any Austin Lloyd toys when you're done with them!

Austin Lloyd's customer service is amazing and sent me the missing info cards less than an hour after I emailed them. Here's their updated information. My 10 month olds box contained: Book- Go, Dog. Go! – $4.99 Skip Hop Rattle & Play tug & clatter key – $8.00 Kid O Tug Boat Green – $17.99 Plan Toys Hopping Rabbit Pull-Along– $24.00 So her box was worth about $54.98. Still a good value and a great assortment of high quality products :)

This is our second month with Austin Lloyd, and the April box theme is a day at the races. My 3 year old daughter and 10 month old daughter both love receiving their boxes each month. My 3 year olds box contained: Book- Go, Dog. Go! – $4.99 Hape Sack Racer – $9.99 Petitcollage Alphabet On the Go Cards – $19.99 Hape Sportster – $7.99 Hape Lacing Vehicles – $9.99 So her box was worth about $52.95. My 10 month olds box contained: Book- Go, Dog. Go! – $4.99 Skip Hop Rattle & Play tug & clatter key – $8.00 Kid O Tug Boat Green – $27.50 Plan Toys Hopping Rabbit Pull-Along– $20.00 So her box was worth about $60.49. I’m happy with the value in both boxes! I thought it was a little odd that my 3 year olds box contained three Hape products, but she loves them all. I was also a little disappointed that my 10 month olds box was missing it's info cards, so I had to look up those retail values online. Overall I think we received some great items and I love the coordinating box themes each month!

Austin Lloyd’s March box theme was farm friends. My 3 year old daughter and 9 month old daughter both received their first boxes this week and love them! I am very impressed by the value and curation of these boxes, and wanted to post a sort of review for those who are interested in monthly surprises for their little ones. The information cards included in the boxes give you product summaries and list the retail values. I used the cards for all of the 3 year old box’s retail values, but I accidentally threw away some of the cards for the other box and had to look up the values online. My 3 year olds box contained: Board book - My Farm Friends - $6.99 Janod Farm Train - $14.24 Hape Farm Animals Mix and Match – double sided domino game - $22.99 Plan Toys Lacing Sheep - $20 Her box had a total retail value of $64.22! My 9 month olds box contained: Board book - My Farm Friends - $6.99 Hape wooden book – At the Farm - $9.99 Haba Hopscotch Sheep Wind Up Figure - $13.29 Moulin Roty Cow Mirror - $22 Organics Farm Buddies Boxer Dog – chime ball - $13.95 Her box had a total retail value of $66.22!
